Hi all

so i bought the seidio surface which i love, except that the phone gets filthy (dust/gunk) and one piece of the plastic near the volume buttons makes a noise...but i love the feel thinness of the case.

so i started looking at the Poetic Atmosphere (which looks perfect but the saggy lip worries me as i put my phone in my back jean pocket and take it out constantly). And the Belkin Candy Grip Sheer...seems perfect but i'm worried it'll be too thick compared to the Seidio or Atmoshpere...

i was looking at the Diztronic...but eliminated as i thought it looked plain compared to the Atmosphere or belkin.

btw i5 is black...

any views are greatly appreciated..

I tried the Belkin Grip Candy Sheer case in Blue/White on my white iPhone 5 and found the sleep wake button a bit difficult to press so I returned it. I don't know if anyone else had that problem. It's too bad too since I really likely the look of the case!

I'm thinking about getting a brandless Poetic Atmosphere since I don't like the logo on the back.

I found the opposite. I have the exact same grip candy sheer and love it. Size is great, barely any weight added. Buttons very responsive. Much better than the cygnett workmate case I got first

I have a Candy Grip and I recommend it. Perfect fit, finish and is minimalistic while offering decent protection even for drops (i've dropped it three times now, twice from bed and once from my car seat, without any damage).

Yes, the button presses are SLIGHTLY muted, but it isn't to the point where I would ditch the case for it.

I think the only complaint I have is that they could do so much better with the colors, but their current selection is a little lame. I have the green sides with black back. Also, the black back is barely transparent. You can hardly make out the apple logo through it.

For the poetic, I never had an authentic one but I did have one made by "minisuit" that I bought off of amazon. It looks the same, but I can't speak about quality differences.

The problem with the minisuit is that the lip was flimsy around the volume buttons and some other places. The belkin is nearly perfect when it comes to lip rigidity.

Does the Belkin add any real thickness? The seidio was 1.2mm which is pretty darn thin...

Okay so I decided to give the Belkin Grip Candy Sheer another try and I am so glad that I did. I bought the teal/gray one at Best Buy today and it fits like a glove on my iPhone 5. The buttons are very responsive on this one! I think the previous blue/white Grip Candy Sheer that I returned before due to stiff power button was defective.

The Belkin is as thin as the Switcheasy Tones and a bit thinner than the Speck Candyshell. It is about the same thickness as a naked iPhone 4. Very slim.

Another vote for the Belkin grip candy sheer. I have the green and black one. I love it. I am hoping belkin releases more colors. I would love a red and black one!

The first case I had the top button was stiff. But, the second one I got is perfect.

I bought both the atmosphere (black) and minisuit (white) and they are exactly the same. Just the minisuit has no labeling like poetic does, but I prefer it this way. And agreed on the bottom lip being loose. Volume area is loose but not as bad as the bottom. Every where else the case fits extremely well.

Does the candy grip sheer fit with the bodyguardz pure? Has anyone tried it?

this should answer your question. I love this person's work on YouTube. I believe the Pure is the same thickness as the SGP GLAS screen protector. He shows that grip sheer works fine with glas.t but the lay on the table isn't too good.

"Candy Grip Sheer with GLAS.t"
