335 customers mention210 positive125 negative

Customers are mixed about the buttons of the mouse. Some mention that the buttons are very convenient, and as this is a Razer mouse, it has the option of changing button functions, add macros, configure the sensitivity, and turn the dpi. However, others say that the main buttons are indented, making it very hard to use the 2 buttons on the side of the product while using it. Some customers also say that mouse 5 has begun sticking and the right click on the mouse was also broken.

252 customers mention45 positive207 negative

Customers have mixed opinions about the clicking of the mouse. Some mention that the double clicking issue, clicking speed is lower than a generic mouse, and the right click button actuates too easily. They also complain that the ghost clicks are becoming more common, and it's easier to accidentally click if you're resting your mouse. The button clicks can be on the loud side, and sometimes registering as two mouse button presses. Some customers also say that the middle mouse button is very resistant to being pressed.

"...mouse since its very comfortable on your hands but it had a double click problem that im going to end up rma'ing it, the Logitech feels very solid..." Read more

"...Any click-drag registers a second click upon release, I couldn't mass select things for the life of me...." Read more

"...less resistance so it is easier to spam the buttons but much easier to accidentally click if you're usually resting your fingers on the buttons...." Read more

Collects Gunk. Questionable Mac Software
Gunk collects here, here and here (see photo). I clean it, and it comes back. I've given up and decided to live in my own filth. I personally love the mouse-- no complaints here. That's why I gave it perfect stars. The Mac software is questionable though. I've seen dozens of updates and had my cloud settings wiped out at least three times (can be frustrating after writing Macros)... I had a video on Youtube but removed it for some reason (I forgot what it was) showing how to make macros...The software used to crash a lot! It's been better with many updates since my purchase of the DeathAdder. Lately the weird thing has been my mouse's lights flash on and off when my iMac sleeps (It's supposed to just shut off the lights during sleep, as per the Synapse 2.0 software setting). Apparently they still have a lot of work to do. As I'm writing this, there is yet another software update. In other notes, I use this mouse both in OS X and in Bootcamp. Synapse is installed on both operating systems. I only sign in to Synapse cloud when Bootcamp is running exclusively. When using a virtual machine, I never sign in because the drivers are shared from OS X.More things to note: The customer service from Razer is great. I've emailed them and sent messages via the feedback menu in Synapse, and they have responded more than once! They are helpful and communicative. Make your next gaming mouse a Razer. Then buy a Razer mousepad, because they are top-notch!
Thank you for your feedback
