From the manufacturer
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse
The high performance, premium build quality, advanced gaming features and incredible comfort of G502 combine for a truly exceptional and highly customizable gaming experience.
Advanced Optical Sensor
G502 comes equipped with the PMW3366 optical sensor with zero acceleration, smoothing, or filtering across the entire DPI range (200-12,000DPI). That means you get exceptional tracking accuracy and consistent responsiveness no matter what sensitivity you set the mouse to.
On-the-Fly DPI
Add even more control to your game with quick DPI shifting from low to high sensitivity. Use the thumb button to transition between headshot-precise low-sensitivity targeting to lightning-fast high-DPI maneuvers. Cycle up and down through as many as five DPI settings with a click. Three DPI indicator lights tell you which setting you are on. Program these DPI settings with Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) or use the default settings that work great out-of-the-box.
Dual-Mode Hyper-Fast Scroll Wheel
Unlock the scroll wheel for hyper-fast continuous scrolling to spin quickly through long pages, or lock it down for single click precision scrolling. The weighty, metal wheel delivers confident, smooth and satisfying control for either mode.
Tune to Your Specs
A wide variety of weight and balancing configurations, custom RGB lighting, 11 programmable buttons, on-the-fly DPI shift settings, desk surface tuning and more. Personalize G502 for your gaming setup and style with Logitech Gaming Software.
Game Ready Details
In addition to the core performance and personalization features, many details were thoughtfully designed: Look for primary buttons rated to 20 million clicks with mechanical microswitches, braided cable with hook and loop cable tie, rubberized grips, magnetic weight-cavity door, and more.

Ergonomics. I love logitech gear in general for how comfortable it is to use, and this mouse is no difference. Its a perfect fit for my average sized hands, with all the buttons laid out perfectly where my fingers fall naturally. No contorting to hit ever button, no straining my wrist. This mouse even has a compartment in the bottom to add (included) weights too, to tune the mass of the mouse to fit the way you move perfectly
Performance. If you enjoy PC gaming at all, a true gaming mouse like this is, well, a game changer. Now, what i mean by 'true' gaming mouse is one with the function you need. Funky angles and lights doodads can give a mouse the 'gaming' aesthetic, but not all of them live up to expectations. This mouse though, it lives up to them. Sure, it lights up, but it also has a ridiculously good sensor that really picks up the tiniest movements, well designed software that allows you to custom map everything the mouse can do to whatever you want it do, plenty of extra keys, though not too many, in perfect locations to hit during gaming. Plus, its wired. If youve only ever used a wireless mouse for gaming, a wired mouse will change your world, something i didnt believe either. Still, the complete lack of input lag will let you pop off headshots that much easier.
Features. This one is tied a lot into performance, but the features all do help to increase the performance. Some of the features ive already touched on, like the extra buttons and the tunable weight. Some deserve to be mentioned again, like the benefits of the cord. Also on the list are the aforementioned software, Logitech is one of the only companies ive found that goes for form over function. Theres no fancy bells and whistles, no programming in a complex 20 step RGB light pattern that flashed every time you pop a headshot, but there is a well designed UI that allows you to map the keys on the mouse with minimal effort. Then theres the small touches on the mouse itself, like the fact that it can save your keymappings to the mouse to travel with it, instead of you computer, and the on-the-fly DPS switch that allows you to switch from rapid aiming to slow and precise movements at the drop of a hat. My favorite feature though? This ones completely unique to Logitech, and the reason i can never switch brands of mice: the scroll wheel. Right below the scroll wheel is a handy switch, pressing it changes the scroll wheel from a clicky, line-by-line scroll that ever other mouse has, to a free-scrolling mode. Such a tiny thing, but so, so nice to have.
Overall, it may seem like an expensive mouse, but its worth every penny and will likely be the last mouse you ever buy. Give it a shot, you wont walk away disappointed
So far so good with this one and I beat it up a little with FPS.
I really like the g-shift option. It works like a Shift key for your mouse buttons - so you can map a second set of functions to each button. Or make it do DPI shift, up to you. Every single button is re-assignable. At this point I'm assigning things like Backspace, C/P, Enter, Volume+/- to my mouse with room to spare, in addition to separate gaming profiles. I think that's really cool.
It uses the standard Logitech Gaming Software so it's what you're used to. I personally like the on-board profiles over the software-defined ones (both are set in the software, the former just lives in mouse memory). Settings persist between PC rebuilds without backing up any configs, and the option of taking the mouse to another PC (work?) while keeping all the functions. I also have had poor luck with the game-detection function on the software-defined side so I just avoid it. Nothing about this mouse, just a comment on the unified software.
Durable and reliable like in the past. Nylon cord is easy to manage.
I think this mouse is as light as can be given all the functions. I've started using no weights to prevent wrist strain, but the weight system looks functional to me. Can adjust balance. The weight cover is most of the bottom of the mouse, attached with a strong magnet. It has never come off on its own, I actually forgot it existed until I started writing this, and it took me a bit to remember how it opens because I was trying to slide to open it. Won't be an issue if you're concerned.
Wheel has good bump-click, and spins freely when set to smooth. Same as other models.
One complaint: While I can change the color of the G light, I can't seem to make the Profile lights anything other than Blue. The software lets me customize but the mouse doesn't care. Not sure if it's a defect or what but it bothers my OCD. I just make the profile lights auto-off after a couple seconds so I don't really notice it much, but it's kinda bs.
Other than that, you know, it's a Logitech mouse for a good price with loads of buttons. You probably know what to expect, if not, try it and that's pretty much what they all are.

Touche bien penser, fonctionnel et en plus joli visuellement en gros que du bon.
Je recommande fortement cette souris qui est à un prix abordable au vue de c'est pref.
G502 KORE/SPECTRUM has been getting loads of high praise from reputable reviewers. So really did not have to think too much before opting to buy this.
Pros:
* Plenty of programmable buttons (11)
* Sturdy build quality - unlike Razer
* Adjustable weight
* RGB lighting
* One of the best sensors out there
* Good user interface (Logitech gaming Software)
* Has 3 on-board prolfiles So your settings would still work even if you plug the mouse into anther computer which does not have Logitech Gaming Software installed.
* Dual mode scroll wheel (there are some cons to this, see the Cons section). The FREE mode is very useful for scrolling long webpages or documents.
* Snipe Mode - When you hold this button the mouse will temporarily switch to a different DPI. This will allow you to use a lower DPI while you aim down the sights of sniper.
* You can use the scroll wheel to scroll horizontally by pushing it to the left/right.
Cons:
* Button positioning is not optimal, especially the side thumb buttons. On the DeathAdder those button are positioned perfectly. On G502 however it is positioned too far back. They should have moved it a little forward and lower.
* The scroll wheel when in 'FREE' mode tends to wiggle when you lift the mouse. This will cause the wheel to scroll up/down due to its on weight when you lift and move the mouse quickly. Also, in this mode the wheel tends to move like a counter weight when you make quick mouse sweeps. Its feel like the wheel is trying to pull you back. You can switch off 'FREE' mode and you won't have this problem.
* When the scroll wheel is in LOCKED mode, it does not feel very smooth. Now, DeathAdder's scroll wheel has the perfect resistance.
* RGB lighting zones are very limited. Only the logo and DPI indicator has lights on them. The logo will be covered by your hands anyway, so that leaves only the DPI indicator. Should have lighting on the scroll wheel or one the sides.
* The cord is too stiff. You will need a cord holder to keep it moving freely.
Person likes:
* I like the way it moves on cloth surface. DeathAdder on the other hand does not seem to like cloth surface.
* Button are heavier than on DeathAdder, so no accidental clicks.
Personal dislikes:
* The base of the mouse is too narrow. I use palm-grip and I would have liked a more wider base - like the death adder.
* If you only use Index and Middle fingers for clicking the buttons and keep your Ring finger on the side, the ring finger tends to rub against the sharp edge at the top. But this is probably because of the shape and size of my hand.
* Bit tooo heavy even without the weights???? Probably only a matter of getting used to.
All in all: GREAT!
This mouse is an all rounder. With a precise sensor, adjustable weight, programmable buttons and DPI shifter, it can perform well on any kind of game, be it RPG or FPS.
Compared to DeathAdder:
Sensor: On-par
Ergonomics: DeathAdder
Flexibility: G502
Build Quality: G502
Material Quality: G502
Interface: G502
Scroll Wheel: DeathAdder
Mouse Cord: DeathAdder
Weight: DeathAdder (very personal preference)
Button Positioning: DeathAdder
This mouse is, quite literally, the best of the best when it comes to gaming mice. Most gaming mice are quite similar in their features. The G502 has a lot of these common features: many buttons, adjustable weight, and tunable software. However, where the G502 shines is how WELL it does all of these things.
PROS:
-The button layout is just about perfect - not too many, and not placed in hard-to-reach positions. All of the buttons can be reached with minimal movement, and can be pressed firmly and accurately. A nice thing about them is that they're not all set up for just your thumb to press, like other mice. Three of the buttons are set up for your thumb, while two more are for your index finger, and one more for your middle finger. This way, you have the option to press more than one extra button at the same time. It also makes the button settings easier to remember, by remembering them by finger, not just a grid of buttons on the side like other gaming mice.
-The adjustable weight is easy to add and remove.
-The tunable software is packed with features and easy to use. Different profiles can be set up for different programs and games, the pointer speed and precision can be finely tuned, and preset levels can be set that can be switched to with the press of a button. Even pointer settings per game profile can be made - so you can, for example, set your mouse to be more sensitive in a twitch shooter game like Call of Duty, and less sensitive for a game with lots of menus like World of Warcraft. The LEDs can be adjusted, and with the Proteus Spectrum, the colors can also be adjusted. The mouse has the option to adjust the tracking and accuracy for different surfaces, like hard or soft mouse pads, or mouse pads that are grippier than others. Finally, the software also tracks your keypresses and input analysis. I really don't know why you would use this, but it is kinda cool to have.
-The thumb and pinky-side grips are both comfortable and grip very well. I've never lost my grip on the mouse, even during intense twitch gaming sessions.
-The G502 has the signature Logitech locking/unlocking scroll wheel that free-spins for quickly scrolling to the bottom of a large document. I love this feature and I hate mice without it now.
-The mouse has a braided USB cable that's nice and long. Just another thing to add to the list of nice extra features.
-The G502 has one other cool feature that I find handy - the ability to have profiles saved directly to the mouse. When I travel and take my gaming laptop with me, it's handy to just transfer the profiles for the games I know I will be playing onto my mouse, and then not have to worry about having different keybinds when I'm gaming at my destination. This is a really nice feature.
CONS: Very minimal, and this doesn't detract from my rating simply because this is how the mouse is supposed to perform, and in fact what it was designed to be like. But the mouse IS a little small for my personal preference. I am a palm gripper by nature of my large hands, and the G502 is in-between a finger and palm grip. It feels only a little bit small for a full-on palm grip. I quickly adjusted to it after a few sessions, but just be aware that it may be something new for you to get used to if you are a palm gripper. Does not detract in any way from the beautiful product that is this mouse, it's just possibly something new for some people.
OVERALL:
Seriously, if you're considering a gaming mouse and you're still reading this review, just buy it and try it out. The price may seem a little steep at first, but you're getting such a premium product for your dollars that it really is worth it. It's quality, and durable. I've had mine for about a year and it's one of the best gaming peripherals I've ever used. Worth every penny.
I bought this product myself and it was not sent to me for review. No one is paying me for this review.

I've had mine for about a year and it's one of the best gaming peripherals I've ever used. Worth every penny.
I bought this product myself and it was not sent to me for review. No one is paying me for this review.
